A new Specialising Master in Artificial Intelligence, Governance Innovation and Digital Transformation is now open for applications. It is delivered by Politecnico di Milano with 15 European partner institutions, and the first cohort starts in November 2026.

Public administrations across Europe are adopting AI faster than they are building the capacity to govern it. MagiX was designed to close that gap.

The programme carries 60 ECTS and runs fully online, mostly asynchronously, so participants can study without stepping away from their jobs. Core modules cover Digital Governance & Transformation, AI & Data, and Human-Centric Design & Innovation, followed by a specialisation track chosen from six options. Along the way participants work in AI4Scale, a secure sandbox for building and testing AI solutions on real public-sector scenarios, and leave with verifiable digital credentials in the AI4Gov-X Skill Wallet.

MagiX was developed within the AI4Gov-X project and is co-funded by the Digital Europe Programme. Places are capped at 300 participants and the total cost is €3,000.

Applications close on 1 October 2026. The programme runs from November 2026 to November 2027.
