Krems Hosts Second Consortium Meeting

On 1 September 2025, the second consortium meeting of the AI4Gov‑X project brought together 38 partner organisations from 21 countries in Krems, Austria, coinciding with the EGOV2025 conference. The gathering marked an important milestone as the partners reviewed progress made to date and aligned on the next phase of activities designed to strengthen capacities in digital governance, public-sector AI adoption and skills development.

Throughout the meeting, participants discussed deliverables related to the master-level training programme, innovation hubs and network building that will underpin AI4Gov-X’s aim of equipping European public administrations for the challenges of artificial intelligence and data governance. Hosting the event in the context of EGOV2025 allowed the partner community to engage directly with broader research and practitioner audiences and to situate the work of AI4Gov-X within the evolving public-sector digital agenda.

As the consortium moves forward, the meeting concluded with renewed commitments to collaboration, the establishment of cross-institutional working groups and preparations for upcoming pilot roll-outs. By convening at EGOV2025 and leveraging shared insights, AI4Gov-X confirmed its trajectory toward building a sustained educational and innovation ecosystem across Europe.
