At the 20×30 Advanced Digital Skills Summit in Brussels, Gianluca Misuraca, Scientific Director of AI4Gov-X, joined consortium colleagues to present AI4Gov as a best practice in public-sector digital-skills development and to introduce the ambitions of AI4Gov-X to a wider European audience. The summit brought together policymakers, educators and industry representatives to explore how Europe can accelerate advanced digital-skills training and meet its goal of developing 20 million ICT specialists by 2030.

In this context, the AI4Gov experience was highlighted as a concrete example of how targeted programmes can equip public-sector professionals with the competencies needed to govern and apply AI effectively. Building on that foundation, Misuraca outlined how AI4Gov-X will expand this work through a European-wide master programme, innovation-generation platforms and collaborative networks designed to strengthen digital-governance capacity across public administrations.

The event provided a timely opportunity to position AI4Gov-X within the broader landscape of initiatives driving Europe’s digital-skills agenda and to engage stakeholders who will play a role in shaping its implementation in the years ahead.
