On 1 October 2025 in Skopje, the AI4Gov‑X team took part in the Western Balkans Digital Summit 2025, joining over 800 high-level participants from public administrations, industry and civil society. 

The summit brought into focus how digital connectivity, public-sector transformation and data governance are shaping the region’s future, and AI4Gov-X engaged in discussions around how educational and innovation ecosystems can support these shifts.

Earlier, the AI4Gov-X consortium also participated in the ReSPA Seasonal School on Digital Transformation 2025 held in North Macedonia, where the emphasis was on equipping public-sector practitioners with advanced governance and digital-skills competencies. 

These joint appearances underscore AI4Gov-X’s commitment to embedding its work within broader European-regional dialogues about digital governance, and to aligning its efforts with public-sector talent development across Europe and the Western Balkans.
